MIUI 12 update brings new UI experience with system animations and visualizations. It introduces a new feature “App drawer” that sorts apps by categories automatically.
The Dark Mode on MIUI 12 covers both system apps as well as third-party apps and can auto adjust according to the ambient lighting. The new Dark Mode 2.0 on MIUI 12 will bring wallpaper dimming to Xiaomi phones. The feature will work with the time of day and will gradually dim the wallpaper as daylight changes to night time.

Xiaomi has also introduced a new feature “Super Wallpapers” with MIUI 12. With the new Mi Light Cone Animation framework, the company claims to have made the user experience much smoother and better.
Xiaomi also launches the new weather app which allows users to see real-life weather forecast and updates inside of the app.

MIUI 12 users can cast anything that they do on their phones onto a TV that supports MiraCast. It also allows users to use the private casting feature that allows them to receive messages and calls, without them disturbing the cast.
The company claims that by using the new Ultra Battery Saver mode feature customers will get additional hours backup time on their devices.
MIUI 12 also brings some new gestures to your phones. Where users will be able to swipe down on the notifications panel to interact with a notification without having to abandon what you’re doing.
MIUI 12 also brings enhanced privacy features to Xiaomi phones. Where users will have the option to choose which permissions have to be granted to the apps only once or only while you’re using them.
Xiaomi has started rolling out the stable version of MIUI 12 to Redmi, MI and Xiaomi phones. The availability will vary by region and devices so you might have to wait to get this new update on your devices.
