MIUI 12.5 device lists need a region and a date

A rollout list is incomplete without the region, exact device model and date.

A rollout list is incomplete without the region, exact device model and date. MIUI 12.5 announcements in 2021 described groups of devices expected to receive updates, not a timeless installation guarantee.

Why the same model name can be misleading#

Regional builds and similarly named models can follow different update schedules. A rollout can also be staged, so two devices that appear comparable may not receive an update at the same time.

Before checking a schedule, record the model identifier and installed build from the device itself. Use Xiaomi's official support and the update information for that exact device. Do not choose a firmware file solely because its marketing name resembles yours.

What the 2021 list can tell you#

The source article recorded Xiaomi's planned batches for devices in the Mi 10/Mi 11 period and several Redmi models. It also repeated an unqualified CPU-saving figure. That figure is not a result measured by this site and has been removed from the guide.

A 2021 rollout list is not a current security-support matrix. If you are checking a phone today, use its actual build and the manufacturer's current support information. For context on the preceding release, read the MIUI 12 overview.
